Poolside Cafe Line Cook; Seasonal

The Country Club of Virginia is seeking Seasonal Poolside Cooks for various shifts. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, delivering excellent guest service, and contributing to a positive summer atmosphere.

• Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS system
• Prepare and deliver light café fare, snacks, and beverages
• Maintain cleanliness of the café and storage areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Process payments responsibly
• Restock inventory and communicate low stock to leadership
• Work collaboratively with pool staff
• Provide attentive service in a high-volume setting

• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in busy environments
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred (not required)
• Must meet minimum age requirements per state alcohol service laws

Full-time or part-time seasonal position averaging around 20-40 hours per week. The season is from May to September with primary shifts set from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, or 12:00 - 8:00 PM. The schedule varies; pools are open 7 days a week. Weekend availability is required.
