Responsibilities- A Server Assistant will ensure that all tables are clean and properly set while also assisting the Food Runner when necessary
- Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers. Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
- Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times
- Learn to operate the Host Stand
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
- Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
- Process all payment methods
- Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A Server Assistant will have an outgoing and social personality
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- A passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude
- A willingness to learn and move into the server role
- Ability to handle high volume and work under pressure
- A team-player mindset
- Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods of time. Working long hours may also be required based on business needs.
