At Southern Kitchen, we believe: “If it is to be, it’s up to me.”
That belief shapes how we lead, how we serve, and how we show up for each other.
We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager who takes personal ownership of the guest experience, the energy of the dining room, and the development of the team. This is not a back‑office role. This is a visible, hands‑on leadership position for someone who understands that culture is built shift by shift.
What Success Looks Like in This RoleYou are successful in this role when:
- Guests leave feeling personally welcomed, valued, and eager to return.
- The dining room runs smoothly — not because you control it, but because you lead it.
- Team members improve under your guidance and feel supported, challenged, and respected.
- Problems are addressed quickly, calmly, and without blame.
- Standards are upheld consistently — even when no one is watching.
- You step in before being asked and solve issues before they escalate.
You understand that leadership is not a title — it is responsibility in action.
Your Impact Ownership of the Guest ExperienceYou take responsibility for every table in the building during your shift. If a guest has a concern, it’s yours to resolve. If a moment can be elevated, you create it.
You are present. You walk the floor. You engage. You set the hospitality standard.
Ownership of the TeamYou model professionalism, accountability, and calm confidence. You coach in real time. You reinforce expectations with clarity and respect.
You don’t wait for someone else to fix performance gaps — you step in and develop people.
Ownership of OperationsYou ensure shifts open strong and close clean. You protect standards for food safety, cleanliness, cash handling, and service flow.
When something feels off, you don’t ignore it — you address it.
Because if it is to be, it’s up to you.
