Game Retail Assistant

Position: Game Day Retail Assistant
The Richmond Kickers Pro Soccer Club, an independent USL League One team and the Richmond Ivy Soccer Club, an independent USL W League team, located in Richmond, VA, are accepting applications for Game Day Retail Assistant. The selected applicants will report to the Director of Merchandise.

Primary Duties:

• Working on game days in the Team Store, which includes set up, break down, checking out customers, customer service, and restocking.
• Update and maintain merchandise / stock counts.
• Ensure a positive fan experience at events and matches through friendly interactions, proactive engagement, knowledge of match and venue procedures, professional appearance and service.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Passionate about the Richmond Kickers, Richmond Ivy, and willing to continue learning and supporting the organization's mission, values, and goals.
• Excellent communication, collaborative, and customer service skills.
• Must have high energy, be enthusiastic, and display positivity around the Richmond Kickers and Richmond Ivy brands
• Well-organized, self-starting, hard-working, detail-oriented, adaptable, and dependable.
• Thrives in a team environment.
• Previous retail/merchandise/event customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Friendly personality and is able and willing to provide great customer service.
• Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Comfortable with outdoor work with some exposure to adverse weather conditions.
• Access to reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to work all Richmond Kickers and Richmond Ivy home games during the season.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work well in a cross-functional team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Must be able to move and/or lift boxes and merchandise displays upwards of 50 pounds.
