Retail Service Specialist – O’Reilly Auto Parts

Essential Job Functions- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Process all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders timely; contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, following procedure and using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly; issue refunds accurately with correct payment methods and stage returned merchandise properly.
- Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages, delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks, and ensure completion.
- Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedule, obtain approval for deviations, and clock in/out per company policy.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties: day end procedures, verify/securing money and deposits per policy, prepare bank deposits, ensure night security lights are on, lock doors and secure the building, arm/disarm security alarms, and secure delivery vehicles.

- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts - Desired:
Automotive systems and repair knowledge - Desired: ASE Certification

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
