A Cooper‑Booth Merchandiser will visit our customers' locations and assist them by suggesting products, ensuring manufacturer’s products are presented in the best way possible to maximize visibility and increase overall sales. CBW Merchandisers will be exceptional at building mutually beneficial relationships with store and field management, and maintaining quality communications through developing and maintaining a mutual relationship of respect and trust.
This position is in the Richmond, VA area, but may require you to drive up to 2 hours away or an occasional overnight stay. Some locations within territory include:
Southern MD, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Four 10‑hour days, Monday through Thursday
Compensation$19.00/hour
Monthly ReimbursementsMileage, car insurance, cell phone, depreciation, etc.
Responsibilities- Follow store layout provided by supervisor to perform resets
- Follow planograms provided by supervisor
- Proudly represent the Cooper‑Booth brand while building relationships with customers
- Take before and after pictures of the location
- Complete merchandising checklist
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age
- Possesses valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Daily travel to customer locations within assigned territory
- Occasional travel requiring hotel stay (2‑3 times per month) to customer locations outside assigned territory
- Safe and defensive driver with clean driving record
- Demonstrates excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self‑starting with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Exhibits problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
- Computer‑literate with the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet, and word‑processing programs, and email at a basic level
