Retail Sales Lead (Short Pump Town Center)

Together we create the cutest, cuddliest (and sometimes downright unusual) plush and lifestyle products in the world. Our offices are located in a sunny Soho loft in NYC and downtown Washington DC.

Responsibilities
  • Understand organizational objectives and make decisions in partnership with the Store Manager that align with Company priorities and values.
  • Enforce sales strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories.
  • Manage productivity: hold self and sales team accountable for personal sales.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in the local market/mall to drive brand loyalty and business (e.g., charity events, local associations, mall initiatives).
  • Resolve customer issues in a solution‑oriented manner; partner with Store Manager and/or District/Regional Manager as appropriate.
  • Develop individual and team product knowledge to stay up‑to‑date on all current Squishable in‑store products.
  • Assist in supervising the team on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; empower others and encourage individual growth.
  • Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and Store Manager.
Qualifications
  • Two plus years of relevant supervisory experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
  • Dynamically engaging leader passionate about empowering, inspiring, and developing team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills to balance priorities and deliver results.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and recognition.
  • High emotional intelligence, empathy, intuition, self‑motivation, and drive.
  • Team player who fosters collaboration and engagement.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Physically able to lift cartons up to 25 lb. and transport stock as required.
Pay

Pay range is $14–$16 an hour.
