Retail Store Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Consistently delivers superior customer service by combining sales, product knowledge, and other skill training to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Completes and utilizes Blick onboarding training, Blick sales training, Preferred Customer Program, Special Orders, and Custom Services Training from NDS.
• Provides customer service at the Custom Services desk, including making appointments, consulting with customers on their Custom Services projects, taking Custom Services orders, and delivering completed orders in store.
• Displays an energetic and positive attitude with all customer interactions.
• Assists in the coordination of merchandise set‑ups, applies visual standards and techniques, and implements and maintains the store as directed by management.
• Follows directions and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Reports low stock levels, inventory discrepancies, and customer product requests to management as required.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of a variety of fine‑art mediums, including but not limited to paints, markers, pencils, printmaking materials, clay, papers.

• Availability for flexible schedules, including day/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance in accordance with retail attendance policy.
• Average 15‑25 hours per week based on availability.

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques and safety rules.
• Prolonged walking, standing, and climbing ladders.

• Minimal local travel may be required.

• High school graduate or equivalent.

$13.00 – $13.50 per hour + sales incentives.
