• Provide member service, including greeting members, verifying membership cards, and identifying member needs.
• Maintain the checkout area; process member purchases, payments, returns, refunds and exchanges following company policies.
• Promote Sam's Club products and services and provide guidance on self-service technology.
• Perform safety sweeps and follow company safety standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Zone and organize merchandise, locate merchandise, and assist members with transporting items.
• Maintain entrance and exit areas, manage paperwork, logs and required documentation, and execute emergency response procedures.
• Observe and report unsafe situations, potential criminal activity, and shrink or damage.
• Assist in training Member Frontline Services associates, teach new technology and tool functionality, and deliver new program rollout training.
• Communicate progress, recommend improvements, adapt to change and collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers and business partners.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment, secure property and ensure compliance with company security and safety practices.

• Retail experience operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. Additional compensation may include premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
