Shift Supervisor Position Summary
Responsible for supporting the CVS Store Management team, driving store execution and performance, and building consumer loyalty by focusing on excellent customer service. When no manager or operations supervisor is present, leads store staff, ensures operations run smoothly, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions- Management:
Work effectively with store management and store crews, supervise crew through assigning and following up on activities, effectively communicate with management and crews. - Customer Service:
Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints; promote CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and thanking customers; handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy; maintain customer/patient confidentiality. - Merchandise/Presentation:
Price merchandise; stock shelves; execute displays, signs, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise; execute off‑shelf merchandise displays and maintenance; reset departments following POGs.
- Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
- Advanced communication and supervision skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, and to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent issues at the store.
- Experience as a retail supervisor.
- Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Typical pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour. Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.
