Geography: Richmond, VA, Norfolk, VA, Virginia Beach, VA, Charleston, WV, Morgantown, WV

The Hematology Oncology Account Specialist is responsible for engaging Hematology and other key Oncology customers within a geographical universe—including academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts—to support the launch of our Multiple Myeloma products. The role focuses on presenting clinically focused selling messages to build and grow revenue, consistently delivering product goals while operating with initiative, drive, and independence.

Success requires outstanding account‑management‑based selling skills, compliance with all Regeneron policies, and collaboration with Reimbursement and Access Specialists, Regional Science Managers, and other partners.

Typical Day
  • Engage Hematology experts and other key Oncology customers within the assigned geographical universe to support the launch of bispecific agents, growing brand share and revenue.
  • Facilitate partnership with multiple collaboration partners—including Regional Directors, Territory‑based Oncology Account Specialists, and Reimbursement Specialists—to resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with designated accounts and specialists.
  • Execute market profiling activities to gain a deep understanding of regional and local health‑care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Proactively identify business opportunities and coordinate efforts by the Regeneron Oncology account team, such as supporting contracting pull‑through with accounts.
  • Build a breadth of relationships within each account to understand objectives, goals, and challenges, and identify approved Regeneron Oncology resources that align with customer needs.
  • Demonstrate dedication to compliance by understanding regulations and policies that govern customer interactions and ensuring consistent focus on compliance.

  • You are a strong account manager with analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills.

A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications is a plus. You must have a minimum of five years of successful experience in Oncology sales, with Hematology/Oncology preferred, and buy‑and‑bill experience with biologics. Minimum three years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in group practices, academic hospitals, or key institutions is required, along with current account management experience in large Oncology group practices or integrated delivery networks.

You must possess a strong understanding of the Hematology/Oncology therapeutic area and the current oncology marketplace, demonstrate leadership and collaboration across differing reporting structures, and have an aptitude for learning science. Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories is required.
