Department Sales
Responsibilities- Grow an established spirits portfolio in the On-Premise customer base with a moderate focus on opening new accounts within the assigned territory through consultative sales.
- Build relationships quickly and service accounts with dedication.
- Demonstrate strong history with On-Premise and understanding of how to bring value to business relationships.
- Ensure consistent customer contact and properly plan and execute sales initiatives.
- Handle all customer-related issues promptly and in a friendly manner.
- Develop a thorough understanding of products and promotional schedules.
- Make effective sales presentations and achieve assigned company objectives to grow the business.
- Identify and nurture new and undersold accounts.
- Use all available POS to enhance selling efforts; stay informed about deals, programming, and initiatives.
- Follow necessary steps when making sales calls and provide reliable, consistent customer service to accounts.
- Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Handle all paperwork in a proper and timely manner.
- Skills & Abilities
- Self-motivated, disciplined, goal-oriented, timely, and able to prioritize tasks.
- Results-driven with the ability to connect with a wide range of buyer types.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; strong presentation-building and presentation delivery capabilities.
- Accessibility
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
- Availability to work outside 8-5 schedule, including early evening hours and occasional weekend events.
- Years of Experience
- Minimum 2 years in a Sales Representative role or higher; strong On-Premise experience preferred.
- Education
- B.S. degree or equivalent work experience.
