Position: Associate Sales Representative -Full Line

What will you be doing?

As a Full Line Associate Sales Representative, you will support the Trauma, Reconstruction, and Extremities Sales team within an assigned territory with installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance, demo inventory setup, customer in‑service, and transportation of customer inventory between accounts. You will also cover surgical cases for sales reps within certain accounts and study technical information and surgical procedures in the Orthopaedics product portfolio.

The territory will require a 24/7 call rotation within the team.

What will you need to be successful?

Success relies on technical expertise in the Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics portfolio and the ability to build positive relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel. You will support the Sales Representative to generate revenue and meet or exceed the territory's quota.

  • Self‑motivated salespeople who quickly assimilate technical information related to Trauma, Reconstruction, and Sports Medicine Orthopaedic surgery.
  • Results‑driven champions passionate about forming relationships to increase sales revenue.
  • Resourceful consultants who work relentlessly to become proficient in Smith & Nephew orthopaedic products and provide technical support.
  • Collaborative teammates committed to partnering with Sales Representatives to support a 24/7 on call schedule.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of sales experience.
  • Preferred experience selling orthopedic products or as an EMS/Paramedic.
  • Proven track record of converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
  • Experience leading/mentoring team members.
  • Knowledge of the Smith & Nephew orthopaedic product portfolio.
Travel Requirements

Within the designated sales territory with 2–4 overnight stays per month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences.

Credentialing

All field sales professionals required to gain entry into healthcare facilities must successfully complete our credentialing process, which often includes COVID‑19 vaccine management.
