AAA Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary

Retail Sales Associate at AAA Club Alliance located at 929 Myers Street, Richmond, VA 23230. Full-time role with a 37.5-hour work week. Compensation: $16.37-$20.93 hourly base plus incentive pay. Eligible for up to 3 weeks paid time off in first year.

• Consistently up-sell and cross-sell AAA products such as memberships, credit cards, and insurance referrals.
• Assist members with planning domestic travel vacations including car rentals, hotels, packages, maps, tour books, and triptiks.
• Answer overflow calls for Roadside Assistance during peak volume.
• Serve as backup for Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services as needed.

• Previous sales and customer service experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency navigating multiple websites and computer programs.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
• Basic geography knowledge beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug, and state/vendor screenings. May include obtaining necessary membership license.
