Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a driven and technical Outside Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This individual will manage and grow an assigned territory by providing solutions to manufacturing customers across a range of industries. You’ll work closely with customer's engineering, maintenance, and purchasing teams to identify needs and deliver value through Hermitage’s robust portfolio of automation and control products.

• Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to grow revenue and market share
• Visit customer sites regularly to build relationships, understand applications, and present solutions
• Work collaboratively with inside sales, product specialists, and suppliers to meet customer needs
• Maintain a solid understanding of the Hermitage product line (PLCs, drives, motion, safety, sensors, robotics, etc.)
• Provide technical support and training as needed for customer applications
• Attend vendor training sessions and industry events to stay current with technologies and solutions

• 2+ years in technical sales, automation distribution, or related industrial field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mentality
• Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory (vehicle stipend provided)
• Self-starter with high integrity and ability to work independently
