We are currently looking for a National Sales Manager to join our Woodstock Chimes team. This position offers the opportunity to lead the growth of an iconic brand while working with a strong network of sales partners, distributors, retailers, and industry leaders.
PositionSummary
The National Sales Manager is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and market expansion of the Woodstock Chimes brand across North America and international markets. This role serves as the primary commercial leader for Woodstock, developing sales strategies, managing key customer relationships, and leading execution through strategic sales partners, including One Coast in the United States, Evergreen Enterprises Canada, and Woodstock's international distributor network.
Approximately 50% of the role focuses on managing and growing sales through these partners, while the remaining 50% is dedicated to expanding strategic accounts, increasing market share, and identifying new business opportunities.
This position works closely with leadership, product development, marketing, operations, and customer service to strengthen Woodstock's presence and reputation worldwide. Travel of approximately 25–35% is required.
- Develop and execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
- Increase customer acquisition, assortment penetration, average order value, and customer retention.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead strategic relationships with One Coast, Evergreen Canada, and Woodstock's international distributor network.
- Manage key national and strategic accounts and support new account acquisition.
- Develop training programs and serve as the primary Woodstock product and sales expert.
- Analyze bookings, shipments, inventory positions, and market trends.
- Develop sales forecasts and annual business plans.
- Monitor performance against goals and track key performance indicators.
- Represent Woodstock Chimes at major trade shows and industry events, including Atlanta Market, Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, Ace Hardware Convention, and Mid-States Distributing Show.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in consumer products, gift, home décor, lawn & garden, outdoor living, or related industries.
- Proven success managing national accounts and driving revenue growth.
- Strong business planning, forecasting, analytical, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to influence and lead through partnerships without direct reporting authority.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel approximately 25–35%.
Preferred:
- Experience with independent sales agencies and distributor networks.
- Experience managing international sales channels.
- Experience with in the gift, garden, home décor, specialty retail, or outdoor living industries.
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution and independent retail channels.
- Annual bookings and shipment growth.
