Job Overview

2020 Companies is hiring a full‑time Brand Representative (BA) to represent Dell in retail stores across the Richmond, VA market. The BA will build relationships, promote brand awareness, and support selling, training, and merchandising of Dell products.

Schedule & Compensation

Typical work days:
Tuesday through Saturday. Schedule is flexible to support work/life balance and business needs. Compensation is $19 per hour with weekly pay and next‑day pay available via Daily Pay. Annual incentive up to $4,000 paid quarterly. Eligible for benefits, 401(k), and other standard offerings. Additional benefits include paid travel time and mileage, paid time off, apparel and equipment provided, $30/month cell‑phone reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, employee assistance program, team‑building events, and Company diversity/ inclusion & Equity events.

Responsibilities
  • Refresh product displays on a quarterly basis.
  • Build partnerships and trust with key stakeholders (shoppers, retail associates).
  • Educate store associates on latest Dell offerings.
  • Maintain Dell retail brand standards by inspecting displays and marketing materials.
  • Travel within assigned territory to visit retailers and engage managers and associates.
  • Conduct in‑store brand presence events and hands‑on demonstrations.
  • Perform brand presence inspections, record findings, and assist in merchandising decisions.
  • Gather market intelligence: trends, competitor pricing, promotions, and customer sentiment.
  • Collect consumer insights weekly and provide channel insight and recommendations.
  • Schedule and facilitate sales and product training with front‑line staff.
  • Set retail display resets and refreshes as needed.
  • Document and report sales, schedules, activities, best practices, and visit records.
  • Meet or exceed personal sales productivity goals and key metrics monthly and quarterly.
Performance Measurements
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals.
  • Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals.
  • Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly.
  • Schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance.
  • Execute sales activities inside each visit and maintain consistent productivity.
  • Demonstrate ability to influence business relationships through shelf space, product placement, and consistent productivity.
  • Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
  • Minimum 6 months of previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products (preferred).
  • Minimum 6 months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong multi‑tasking skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment.
  • Travel within 70 miles of the ideal market ZIP code; occasional travel to other markets.
  • Must have reliable transportation and state‑required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage.
