As a Director, Mid-Market Sales for , you will be responsible for delivering frontline sales results through customer interaction and employee satisfaction. You will grow and develop your region’s revenue by selling new advertising and info subscriptions to new customers, expanding existing customer revenue, and ensuring high levels of customer service and renewals. You will manage sales managers and sales associates focused on growing new and existing business, driving product usage, managing accounts, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities- Attract, hire, motivate, and develop high-impact salespeople capable of meeting/exceeding sales quotas
- Provide coaching and training to enhance sales effectiveness and achieve quotas
- Identify, prioritize, and win new client relationships while retaining and growing current clients and knowing major accounts in the market
- Monitor sales performance and hold salespeople accountable to activity and relationship targets to achieve business performance
- actively manage weekly activities, including Monday Morning Sales Meeting attendance, office attendance, and timely use of Enterprise CRM systems that capture activities, pipelines, and account assignments
- Establish individual and team performance targets aligned with business goals; monitor and address performance issues as needed
- Develop and mentor all team members
- Ensure CoStar Group culture and values are adopted by the team
- Five or more years of experience in a front-line sales leadership role, preferably in digital marketing or advertising sales; or equivalent experience in the Multifamily industry
- Three or more years of experience directly managing a team of 5+ employees, including recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high-performing sales team
- Experience managing a book of business with annual revenue > $1 million
- Experience in a highly transactional, consultative, fast-paced sales environment with short cycle times
- Proficiency in Excel
- Demonstrated commitment to previous employers
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited in-person college/university
- Three or more years in front-line sales leadership in digital marketing or advertising sales or equivalent in Multifamily
- Three or more years directing a team of 5+ employees
- 6 or more months of meeting performance standards and sales goals
- Experience managing a book of business with annual revenue > $1 million
- Experience in a highly transactional, consultative, fast-paced sales environment with short cycle times
- Proficiency in Excel
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited in-person college/university
- Strong track record mentoring and coaching sales teams to achieve potential
- Experience leading a sales team with a strong focus on customer service
- Proven ability to grow a sales territory through new client acquisition and existing account growth
- Ability to build long-term client relationships at all levels
- Effective internal and external relationship-building skills (including C-Suite)
- Ability to retain top performers and address under-performers

Base Compensation: $95,000-$110,000 annually
