Under general direction, the hotel coordinator works closely with the sales and hotel leadership to promote and sell guest rooms and meeting facilities by following Drury United processes and procedures. The primary focus is inside sales, coordinating meeting room details, incoming inquiries, proactive sales calls for new business, and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The position may include travel to assist with sales blitzes, trade shows, and other promotional opportunities.

• Promote and sell guest rooms and meeting facilities in line with Drury United processes.
• Coordinate meeting room details and manage incoming inquiries.
• Make proactive sales calls to generate new business and maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Assist with sales blitzes, trade shows, and other promotional opportunities as needed.
• Present a high standard of integrity, service and hospitality to promote the Drury culture.

• Intermediate knowledge of sales techniques and professional business practices.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate an automobile on occasion to conduct sales activities outside of hotel.

The pay range is: $22.39 - $33.59 per hour, with potential for a higher starting wage based on experience, skills, and education. The role is eligible for a discretionary quarterly “+1 Service” bonus.
