Ryder System is seeking a Commercial Trailer Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across our transportation and warehousing customers. In this role, you will own the full sales cycle for commercial trailers-prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting site visits, and negotiating contracts. You will analyze fleet and logistics needs, develop tailored trailer solutions, and collaborate with operations and finance to ensure profitable, compliant deals.
The manager will maintain a strong pipeline in CRM, forecast sales, track market trends, and provide consultative support to key accounts while promoting Ryder's safety-first, customer-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Own full sales cycle for commercial trailer solutions from prospecting to close
- Prospect, qualify, and manage a robust pipeline of transportation and warehousing customers
- Conduct customer site visits, needs assessments, and solution presentations
- Analyze fleet and logistics requirements to recommend appropriate trailer configurations
- Prepare and negotiate pricing proposals and contracts in line with margin targets
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and fleet management teams to ensure feasible solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reporting
- Monitor market, competitor, and industry trends to identify new opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts
- Promote Ryder's safety-first, customer-focused culture in all customer interactions
