Parts Outside Sales

Job Responsibilities:

Identify and establish contact with potential customers

Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers

Visit existing customers

Develop and maintain relationships and have meaningful contact with with existing customers

Act as a public relations liaison for the dealership

Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads

Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales

Recommend marketing strategies to garget a specific region or demographic

Generate and submit sales reports to management

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or the equivalent

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

Valid driver license and a good driving record

Professional personal appearance

Knowledge of automotive parts

Will be trained on dealerships parts inventory system

Must be able to judge when emergency purchases are and are not justified and to coordinate orders with parts counter people

Must be able to represent the dealership in a professional manner
