Responsible for utilizing industry and company sales procedures to ensure the active identification, contact, submission of job quotes and closing of profitable new commercial construction sales. Assist in the sales forecasting process for the designated sales territory.

Responsible for utilizing industry and company sales procedures to ensure the active identification, contact, submission of job quotes and closing of profitable new commercial construction sales. Assist in the sales forecasting process for the designated sales territory.

- 1.Develops and maintains close contact with general contractors to foster amiable and mutually trusting relationships.
- a.Coordinates the full resources of the company and its suppliers to maximize the commercial customer sales relationship (potential).
- b.Maintain current HVAC system product and design application and capability knowledge.
- 2.Receives invitations to bid, reviews the project for compatibility, notify of bid intention, and obtains drawings and specifications.
- a.Completes “take off” utilizing current software application on materials & equipment, request and receive vendor pricing, reviews and evaluates vendor pricing and scope.
- b.Compile bid tabulation, submit to general contractors, and follow up as appropriate.
- c.Evaluate bids not awarded for future bidding purposes.
- 3.Responsible for reviewing contract for awarded jobs prior to submission to president.
- 4.Verify scope of work outlined in contract matches the scope of work priced.
- 5.Verify contract amount.
- 6.Set up budget; verify supplier equipment and material compliance, quantities and cost. Negotiate for best price and terms before issuing purchase orders.
- 7.Responsible for submitting job budgets to commercial contract sales coordinator requesting equipment and material submittals.
- 8.Coordinates release of equipment and material for the job.
- 9.Reviews all proposed change orders and pricing and prepares required change orders.
- 10.Consults with general contractor regarding any disputes related to scope of work.
- 11.Prepares monthly progress billings
- 12.Complete close-out procedures on each job including reports to general contractor and miscellaneous requirements per job specifications.
- 13.Reviews monthly cost reports to insure job profitability.
- 14.Responsible for maintaining a professional level of personal growth related to current proficiency in various sales support programs and guidelines to include:
Maintain proficiency with current software applications. - 15.Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
