As a On Call Response Officer, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

ESSENTIAL
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.
Other duties may be assigned
- SRO’s will be assigned to train at 3 locations extending across the Greater Richmond area.
- Shifts of 8 – 12 hours
- Must be able to accept last-minute assignments due to call-offs or No Call No Shows
- Handle calls for service; intake of media and emergency calls
- Complete daily reporting; incident Report input and approval
- Notification elevation, upon approval; mass notification/Everbridge
- Conduct travel security reviews
- Red Tag/Hot Works reporting
- Ensure timely and effective response to incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to the Security Operations Center and its role as a central alarm monitoring station
- Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring and radio systems
- Process and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch procedures
- Coordinate with Security Operations Center staff to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activity (e.g., Officer Dispatch, Incident Reporting, etc.)

Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications
Required:
- Must pass a skills-based assessment called “Criticall”, which is administered after successful completion of the interview process.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
