Armed Security Ambassador

Garda World Security Services is hiring a Security Officer – Armed!

• Must have an armed DCJS license.
• Prior tactical firearms experience and advanced training in emergency medicine preferred.
• Minimum 3 years federal, state, local law enforcement or military police experience.
• Advanced skills in people and conflict management with de‑escalation techniques.
• Ability to function in stressful situations while exercising good judgment.
• Strong customer service skills with effective communication under stress.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, weapon training qualification certification for the type of weapon required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Participation in industry‑specific security/safety training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken. Benefits

    Glen Allen, VA.
  • Full‑time schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday‑Friday.
  • Competitive hourly wage of $32.45 (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees).

  Additional Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Pass an extensive screening process.
  • First‑aid certification is an asset.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
  • Security, military, law enforcement experience – even better.
  • State license if required.
