Learn more:  As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and assigned security-related procedures at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns to report.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, assisting with traffic and/or pedestrian control as directed, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Complete accurate, timely reports including daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
