Supply Chain Security Officer - Night Shift

In this vital role, you will help create a Clean and Safe Supply Chain environment for our Associates, Vendors, and Visitors. You will actively promote safety and security by maintaining a strong presence, enforcing supply chain policies, managing traffic flow, and responding swiftly to incidents. Working closely with Asset Protection Associates, Supply Chain Leadership, Carrier/Drivers, and Law Enforcement, you will investigate and resolve security concerns, acting as a first responder during critical situations.

You will manage various processes in alignment with customs regulations and monitor perimeter security while documenting incidents through our internal case management systems.

• Maintain a visible and proactive security presence to ensure a safe environment.
• Validate physical security measures, including gates, doors, and access controls.
• Engage effectively with drivers, overseeing inbound and outbound processes in compliance with CTPAT.
• Conduct safety and security audits using handheld devices.
• Perform regular interior and exterior patrols, identifying potential security issues.
• De-escalate situations involving associates and visitors using professional techniques.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain leaders to enforce security policies and procedures.
• Report suspicious behavior and safety hazards to appropriate management.
• Utilize our case management system for detailed incident reporting and documentation.
• Monitor security footage to detect unauthorized activities.
• Participate in monthly Safety Team meetings to stay informed on security updates.
• Maintain required certifications and licenses.
• Participate in court hearings when necessary, fostering relationships with local law enforcement.

• 1-2 years of experience in retail, security, first response, or military.
• 1-2 years of experience in big-box retail or related security fields.

• Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, or related security field.
• 1-2 years of incident report writing experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in conducting audits and quality reviews.
• Experience with physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.).
• First-Aid Certification.
• Knowledge in De-Escalation/Crisis Intervention techniques.

• Availability to work a set schedule, subject to change based on operational needs.
• Willingness to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
