Overnight Security Officer - Richmond VA

Job Overview

Overnight Security Officer for a split shift across two separate sites. Wage is $19.00-$20.00 per hour. Weekend availability is required. The position is full‑time. It requires prior security experience, the ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and compliance with state, county and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards.

Richmond, Virginia.

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure safety of client property and personnel.
• Patrols premises and enforces regulations and directives for personnel, visitors and clients.
• Provides customer service and information to employees and customers of the client.
• Engages in frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs and walking up inclines on uneven terrain.
• Occasionally lifts up to 10 pounds and sometimes up to 25 pounds.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum prior security experience.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
