** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues.

+ Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor activity, and/or vehicle movement in accordance with site protocols while providing clear directions and assistance to the public.

+ Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed, assisting with traffic or pedestrian concerns, and completing routine reports related to patrol activity and incidents.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
