Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordinator - Richmond, VA

Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for access, and help deter unauthorized entry into restricted and sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Document visitor activity, access events, and security-related incidents through logs, reports, and required site systems while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require attention.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
