Security Officer – Downtown Mornings – Full Time

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 08:30 AM – 04:30 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, authorized access activity, and/or visitor movement in accordance with site protocols while supporting a professional and courteous environment.
• Assist with traffic, pedestrian, and/or roadway‑related observations as directed by site procedures, helping to report hazards, disruptions, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
