What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or patients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

* Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

* Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report security-related issues, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.

* Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and following post orders while working in varying conditions across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

* Must possess an Armed Guard Card/License.

* Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.

* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
