Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and provide technical support for large-scale commercial electrical projects. This role involves overseeing change-outs, retrofits, and installations of complex electrical and control systems for projects ranging from $100K to $3M. The superintendent will manage the day-to-day activities of a team of 10-15 mechanics, apprentices, and helpers, ensuring safety, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate work for electrical mechanics, apprentices, and helpers
  • Manage a team of 10-15 electricians
  • Provide guidance and demonstrate best practices
  • Perform or assist in electrical installations as needed
  • Prioritize safety and promote a safety-first culture
  • Teach and coach to prevent injuries
  • Collaborate with the Electrical Project Manager to discuss labor and material requirements and evaluate work progress
  • Ensure project completion meets schedule, budget, and quality standards
Qualifications:
  • Previous leadership experience as a Lead Electrician, Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent on commercial electrical projects
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial electrical and control systems
  • 7+ years of experience (preferred)
  • Journeyman or Master’s Electrical License (preferred)
  • Ability to interpret blueprint drawings and plans
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet usage
  • High energy level for a dynamic workload
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check
