Commercial Technician

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Commercial Technician located in Richmond, VA. The Commercial Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing security and automation systems for commercial customers. The role involves configuring and testing equipment, identifying and troubleshooting system issues, educating customers on system operations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. Building professional relationships with clients and providing exceptional customer service will also be an essential aspect of this role.

• Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems, automation devices, and related equipment
• Technical understanding of troubleshooting and configuring electronic systems for optimal performance
• Experience with customer service, client interaction, and professional communication skills
• Familiarity with safety protocols, compliance requirements, and proper use of tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and address challenges effectively in the field
• Previous experience in the security or automation industry is an advantage
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or additional training is a plus
