The Role
We are seeking an experienced Access Control Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting access control systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with leading platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, and Honeywell.
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain access control systems and related hardware/software.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Access Control Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Genetec, Lenel, and Honeywell systems.
- Technical
Skills:- Familiarity with networking concepts and IP‑based systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Lenel Certified Professional
- Genetec Security Center Certification
- Honeywell Access Control Certification
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 – $35.00 per hour.
