Responsibilities:
- Install and finish interior trim, millwork, doors, frames, and hardware in commercial settings.
- Build and install cabinetry, countertops, baseboards, wall panels, and crown molding to high-end specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications to plan and sequence work.
- Frame interior walls, install metal/wood studs, and hang drywall for commercial remodel and new-build projects.
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including miter saws, table saws, routers, drills, and nail guns, in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and assist with site cleanup and material handling as needed.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to keep projects on schedule and deliver quality workmanship.
Required:
- 3+ years of recent commercial carpentry experience (interior trim, doors/frames/hardware, framing, or buildout work) within the last 5 years.
- Proven ability to perform precision finish work in occupied or high-end commercial environments.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, layouts, and shop drawings with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with basic hand tools and common power tools and able to work safely at heights and on ladders or scaffolding.
- Reliable transportation to projects throughout the greater Richmond, VA area (jobs may be in the city or surrounding communities).
- Ability to work legally in the United States and pass any job-related background or drug screening consistent with applicable laws.
