As a Commercial Service Electrician, you play a critical role in delivering high‑quality electrical service to our clients while supporting the JRAC team. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair (time & material service), and installations across commercial projects. The goal of this role is to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient electrical systems while providing exceptional service and support to both our clients and internal team.
EssentialFunctions
- Physically capable & able to follow directions
- Safe use, care, and maintenance of tools & equipment
- Working to or currently obtain CFC certification
- Electrical code
- Proficiency at preparing quotes
- Operate and maintain switch gear
- Planning & running conduit
- Pulling wire in different settings
- Installation of boxed & panels
- Checking wiring for code compliance
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting including minor repairs and lighting
- Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of AC & DC drives
- Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of controls & indicators
- Connecting and testing service and distribution
- Use of meters and diagnostic equipment
- Wiring, devices, fixtures, and panel boards
- Temperature and automatic controls
- Specialized systems
- High voltage – 480

- Driven to achieve long and short‑term goals within specific deadlines.
- Dependable with a strong desire to learn
- Minimum 3‑5 years field experience
- Clean driving record
- CFC certification preferred
- Trade school
- Electrical card
- Journeyman's card preferred
- Master's card preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to work irregular and extended hours
- All successful candidates must be able to pass the required background check and drug‑screen and driving record.
