Electrical Foreman – Commercial & Industrial Solar
A leading renewable energy EPC contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead field crews on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established solar contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solar installations for commercial, industrial, institutional, and public-sector clients.

Their team includes NABCEP-certified installers, engineers, and licensed electricians who are passionate about building the clean energy economy and delivering exceptional projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise electricians and installation crews on active solar construction sites.
- Coordinate daily work activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
- Install and oversee the installation of PV modules, racking systems, inverters, switch gear, and other balance-of-system equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and construction documents.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements, project specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Track materials, tools, and manpower requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors.
- Support system testing, commissioning, and final punch list completion.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical construction, with supervisory or lead experience.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman or Lead Electrician.
- Solar construction experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- NABCEP certification is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
