OverviewSalary Range $25.00 - $26.50 Hourly
DescriptionAs a Maintenance Service Technician, you will be a part of the team that maintains the community and profitability. The physical upkeep of the community is your priority. You must maintain and operate all mechanical equipment excluding those specifically designated for contract repair and service. This position is under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

You've Got Skills:
If you've got them, flaunt them! Here are the main skills and certifications we look for in a Maintenance Technician:
- Apartment maintenance or hotel industry experience preferred or general construction & home repair knowledge.
- You must have CFC Type 2 certification and have or willing to acquire CPO certifications.
- Be knowledgeable in the areas of appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC (R22, and R410a).
- You have or are willing to learn Onesite and other computer software systems.
You're probably way more talented than that and each day will be anything but typical. Flexibility is key, but if you also have these skills we need to talk!
- You're a people person with customer service skills that are the stuff 5-star reviews are made of and you have good communication skills.
- It's not all in the details, but it helps that you can prioritize work as it comes in, make repairs with accuracy, and then complete the written request.
- You're Batman. Emergencies happen and you're willing and able to answer the call and perform the necessary maintenance and repairs when it's your turn.
- "That's NICE" is what people will say when they see what a great job you're doing maintaining the grounds. You'll inspect buildings/grounds/common areas and suggest repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
- 'Repair or replace' is your game. You already know how or are willing to learn how to perform appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing. Work is done per company policy, Fair Housing Laws, & OSHA standards.
- You are able to lift 50+lbs. and work both indoors and outdoors.
- Go Team! You love to win and can work with your community's team to be the talk of the town (in a good way).
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
