This role involves supporting a variety of construction projects in the Richmond area, with a strong focus on window-related work, concrete repair, and general construction tasks. You will perform hands‑on duties such as caulking, cutting and installing windows, and completing concrete repairs, often working at heights and in outdoor conditions.
Responsibilities- Perform window caulking to ensure proper sealing, weatherproofing, and durability.
- Cut, fit, and install windows according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Carry out concrete repair tasks, including preparation, patching, and finishing.
- Work at heights and in the air as required for window installation and repair work.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for construction and repair activities.
- Assist with general construction labor, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
- Support glazing work on windows, ensuring proper installation and finishing.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and functional condition.
- Proven construction labor experience with hands‑on work on active job sites.
- Concrete repair experience, including preparation, patching, and finishing.
- Glazing and window‑related experience, including installing and sealing windows.
- Strong caulking skills, particularly for windows and exterior applications.
- Carpentry experience, required for cutting, fitting, and installing windows and related components.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in the air as part of daily duties.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments.
- Reliability and punctuality to meet a consistent weekly schedule.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working on a variety of construction projects and adapting to different tasks.
- Familiarity with general labor duties such as site cleanup and material movement.

WorkEnvironment
This is an outdoor, field‑based role where you work on active construction sites in the Richmond area. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain or shine, and frequently perform tasks at heights or in elevated positions. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with some Saturdays as needed, and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
The work involves regular use of hand tools and power tools, handling construction materials, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
