Job Title: Environmental Field Laborer

Department: Operations

Reports To: Logistics Manager

The Environmental Field Laborer (Field Tech) must be able to work in compliance on various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. They must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

• Executionoffieldworkencompassedinremediationandindustrialmaintenanceprojectswhileunder directorindirectsupervision.
• Correctcompletionofalljob-specific,employee-relatedMERpaperworkincluding
  
  Timesheets,Daily Work Reports , Driver’sLogs andDaily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms .
• Understandandworkwithinproject’sdetailedscope-of-worktomaintainstrictcompliancewithcontractdocuments,project schedules,andcorporatepoliciesandprocedures.
• Worksafelyduringallphasesofperformingthejobdutiesrequiredinthefield.
• Abilitytoperformworkinsideareasofvaryingdimensions;involvingsquattingandcrawlingforpossibleextendedperiods.
• Abilitytofollowdirections;read/speakandunderstand
  
  English;readandunderstandcommon dangerplacards/labelsandhazardouswarningliteratureincludingsitesafety plans.
• Theabilitytosafelydriveandperformsafetychecksonallvehiclesforwhichlicensed.
• Projectworkmayrequireoutoftowntravelfor twoweeksormore
• Mustbeabletounderstandandcomplywithcompanyandclientsafetystandards.
• Duetothediversityofbothscheduledandnon-scheduled projects,physical demands,and environmentalconditionsvary significantlydependingonthe project.
• Workoutsideyearroundinalltypesofweather.
• Mayworkinenvironmentsthatareextremeinnaturelikeenvironmentalconditionssuchasheat,cold,heights,hazardouschemicals,loud noises,dangerous equipment,longhoursetc.
• Maybeexposedtovarying levelsof physical activitiesandphysical extremessuch aslong periodsofstanding,walking,crouching,useofhands,andheavyliftingofupto
  50poundsormore.
• Must be clean shaven at all times to allow immediate donning and seal of respirator.

• Requires High School Diplomaor GED(orequivalentreading,writingandreasoningskills).
• Experienceinemergencyresponse,manuallabor,generalconstructionand/orindustrialcleaningis preferred.
• Avalid Class“D”Driver’sLicenseisrequired.
• TWIC preferred.
• OSHA
  40-HRHAZWOPER&Confined Space Entrycertificationsaredesiredbutnotrequired .
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employmentverifications,criminalsearchand
  
  Motor Vehicle Record  (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet companypolicystandards.
