Pest Control Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for a hard‑working, innovative, detail‑oriented Pest Control Technician to join our Aptive team in Ashland, VA. This full‑time position offers hourly pay of $17.50–$20.50 plus uncapped bonuses, with the opportunity to work a local route and report to our Richmond, VA office once per week.

• Run a daily route to resolve customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and work with pesticides following state and federal laws.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert by implementing the most efficient pest solution for each customer.
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of any issues encountered on service routes.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides in use.
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs.
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday.

• US driver’s license valid for at least 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than two in the past 4 years).
• Will successfully pass a drug test and background check.
• No prior experience required; we provide full training.
