Overview

The Automated Warehouse Equipment Engineer will work in an automated warehouse and will maintain the leased equipment. They will be responsible for the service agreements governing the equipment, ensuring compliance with local and global requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier contracts and services, ensuring suppliers abide by safety regulations.
  • Supervise the racking system, repairs, and preventative maintenance to meet global standards.
  • Coordinate with supplier technicians for predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on forklifts and AGVs.
  • Act as software superuser for manual and automated fleet and set up parameters aligned with operations of the equipment.
  • Manage the battery room, batteries, chargers, and equipment needed for the AGVs and manual forklifts.
  • Lead and maintain the budget.
  • Ensure spare parts inventory is available for critical issues per the service level agreement.
  • Report incidents inside the facility to the responsible authorities as required.
  • Monitor benchmarks for forklifts and automated guided vehicles.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electronics, electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, industrial or related) or equivalent combination preferred.
  • Significant work experience in industrial maintenance or warehouse control systems, diagrams, mechanical diagrams, and robotics.
  • Proven knowledge of software mechanics and electrical diagrams.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems, electronic components, MS Office, and the ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and quality tools.
Additional
  • Willingness and ability to travel globally.
  • This position is onsite 5 days a week.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $84,674.00 to $, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation, and detailed remuneration information (including benefits) will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.

Your workplace

The hybrid work policy provides for an average of 3 days per week in the office. The hiring team will discuss policy and eligibility during the recruitment process.
