Job Description
As a Senior Mechatronic Robotic Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our high-speed automated and robotic equipment. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining and repairing material handling systems, ensuring efficiency and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment such as conveyors.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
- Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
- Enter downtime data in the daily log and complete PM sheets.
- Apply knowledge of basic electrical components to troubleshoot and identify equipment problems.
- Track and store the department's inventory, including spare parts.
- 2+ years of experience in conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years of experience with the repair of material handling equipment or automated conveyor systems and controls.
- Experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics for at least 2 years.
- Knowledge and experience with electrical and electronic principles for a minimum of 2 years.
- 1+ year of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and Safety standards.
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- 2+ years of experience working with PLC-based controls systems.
- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
Work in a large distribution facility with high-speed automation equipment, primarily comprising robotic components. Be prepared to walk approximately 10,000 steps per day. Embrace a performance-tracking system based on data and numbers, without micromanagement. Candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, with positions available across all shifts.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
The pay range for this position is $42.60 - $42.60/hr.
