Industrial Reliability Maintenance Technician III/IV

Location:

Richmond, VA

Schedule:

40 hours per week across four 10-hour shifts; early AM and early PM start options

Compensation: $31.87–$37.26 per hour + excellent benefits

Your day-to-dayYou arrive for an early start, review the maintenance dashboard, and map out the day: a round of scheduled preventative checks, two priority troubleshooting calls, and a cross-department huddle to align on throughput goals. Before breaks hit, you’ve executed a lockout/tagout, diagnosed an intermittent VFD fault on a conveyor line, and documented corrective actions. In the afternoon, you mentor a junior tech through a boiler inspection, update the CMMS with parts used, and close out a root-cause analysis on an electrical panel outage.

You wrap up by staging tools and parts for tomorrow’s PMs—keeping the plant safe, reliable, and running.

What you’ll do Champion safety—work to established EHS standards, spot hazards, and apply corrective actions to protect people and equipment.

Own preventative maintenance—perform routine inspections, services, and calibrations to keep assets operating at peak performance.

Diagnose and repair—troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across diverse systems and resolve them with urgency and quality.

Boost uptime—partner with operations to enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and minimize unplanned downtime.

Document everything—maintain precise records of inspections, repairs, and PM tasks to support compliance and continuous improvement.

Collaborate—coordinate with fellow technicians and cross-functional teams; share know‑how and technical insights.

Mentor others—coach junior technicians to strengthen the team’s collective capability.

Pitch in on other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
