Serves as first line supervisor over the day-to-day operations of overhead electrical, water plant management, sewer/storm drain management, plumbing/sprinkler maintenance and HVAC, ventilation, and electronic controls.
Inspects and ensures contractor work is done properly and in compliance with contract specifications. Ensures energy conservation measures are taken as required by regulation.
Provides input into a yearly and five year management update/plan which includes materials, chemicals and budgeting needed for projects that are scheduled for completion during the upcoming year.
Provides input regarding training needs, water treatment chemicals/kits, expenditures, small equipment and hand tools requirements for budget purposes.
Plans and schedules work assignments and/or projects daily and weekly for employees on the basis of assigned work orders, service orders and standing operating orders.
Incumbent must possess a valid state driver's license and be capable of operating government vehicles from ½ ton pickup to 2 ton trucks.
Incumbent must be EPA Certified in the repair of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
