Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV / Alarm Systems Technician to join our private security technology division in Richmond, Virginia.

The Security Alarm Systems Technician performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electronic security systems including:

• Access Control Systems
• Intrusion Alarm Systems
• Electronic Door Hardware
• Monitoring and Detection Devices

This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Install, maintain, repair, and test security systems hardware and software
• Install and service CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, card readers, electronic locks, and related devices
• Diagnose and repair system malfunctions
• Test and inspect systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with standards
• Perform emergency service repairs as needed
• Install and relocate security equipment at customer sites
• Maintain accurate service and installation records
• Work with monitoring, alarm, and data circuits

• Experience installing and servicing security systems
• Knowledge of:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Alarm Systems
• Valid DCJS Electronic Security Technician Registration or eligibility to obtain one
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently and within a team
