Got a knack for fixing things and a genuine curiosity about how HVAC systems work? Shamin Hotels is looking for a dependable, hands-on HVAC Technician Helper to join our engineering team and help keep our hotel properties comfortable, safe, and running smoothly.

This is a hands-on, entry-level role where you'll work side-by-side with experienced technicians, hotel engineering teams, and outside vendors - learning the trade while making a real, visible difference for our guests and properties. What You'll Do

• Assist HVAC technicians with inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment
• Handle preventive maintenance - changing filters, cleaning coils, clearing drains, lubricating components, and checking belts and electrical connections
• Help diagnose issues on guest-room units, PTACs, split systems, rooftop units, exhaust systems, commercial kitchen equipment, coolers, and freezers
• Transport tools, parts, refrigerant cylinders, and supplies to work areas, and keep mechanical rooms and workshops clean and organized
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests with minimal disruption to guests
• Lend a hand with general building maintenance - basic electrical, plumbing, painting, and mechanical tasks
• Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts used
• Support emergency maintenance needs and after-hours calls as assigned
