Salary Range: $17.50 To $19.50 Annually

As our portfolio expands, we're looking to grow our Field Technician team. This role will work closely with our customer service team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our telecommunications team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment and services. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems and equipment, including routers, switches, and fiber optics.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to resolve network and service issues promptly.
• Conduct site surveys to evaluate equipment placement and installation requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing their concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and equipment used, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
• Stay up to date with industry developments, technologies, and best practices to support continuous improvement.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and ensure it is stocked with necessary tools and materials.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in telecommunications or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in telecommunications or a related field is a plus. Experience with Dish Network technology is also preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to learn new and existing systems, technologies, and distributions independently.
