Körber Technologies, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a APP Technician to join our team. The Technical Support Technician provides technical support for PM100, PM80, PM100T, and PM80T equipment within the Asset Protection Program (APP). This position supports equipment reliability through preventive maintenance oversight, reactive troubleshooting, machine testing and tuning, and operational support during C Shift.

The successful candidate must have a strong background in test and tune activities on Koerber single rod makers and must be able to work independently during overnight operations while communicating equipment status, risks, and corrective actions clearly to customers and internal teams.

• You will monitor and support preventive maintenance activities on PM100, PM80, PM100T, and PM80T equipment
• Review machine condition, performance, and maintenance findings to identify developing reliability concerns
• Help ensure APP maintenance standards, procedures, and documentation requirements are followed
• You will provide responsive troubleshooting support for mechanical, pneumatic, and operational issues
• Diagnose machine failures, identify likely root causes, and implement or recommend corrective actions
• Support breakdown response, recovery, and safe return to production
• Perform test and tune activities on Koerber single rod makers
• Evaluate machine settings and operating conditions and make adjustments to improve quality, efficiency, and stability
• You will support APP objectives focused on protecting customer assets, improving up time, and sustaining equipment performance
• Maintain clear shift handoff notes and communicate open issues, risks, and required follow-up actions

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent. A technical degree, apprenticeship, or formal training in mechanical, industrial, or maintenance technology is preferred
• Hands‑on technical experience supporting PM100, PM80, PM100T, and PM80T platforms, as well as APP equipment and related customer support activities, is required
• Strong demonstrated experience performing test and tune activities on Koerber single rod makers is required
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for mechanical, pneumatic, and operational equipment issues, with the ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and support corrective actions, are required. Experience with continuous improvement and reliability‑centered maintenance practices is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, machine drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance or service documentation systems is preferred
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions during overnight operations
• Must be available to work C Shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift equipment or components as required
