This role does require driving your own personal vehicle to different locations across the city to fix devices. Must have a valid Driver's license and no more than one moving violation in the past three years. Mileage is reimbursed.

* Essential Functions:

*
* + Provide onsite technical support and outstanding customer service for assigned equipment and clients.

+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain multifunction devices (MFDs), copiers, printers, and related equipment.

+ Respond to service calls and resolve issues in accordance with customer SLA requirements.

+ Use electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, multimeters, and electrical schematics to diagnose equipment issues.

+ Maintain equipment, production, and supply inventories for assigned sites.

+ Communicate equipment status, availability, and service updates to onsite customers.

+ Provide basic customer training on equipment functionality as needed.

+ Escalate issues to additional technical resources when required.

+ Travel throughout the Richmond area to support customer sites and service calls.

+ Follow all safety procedures when working with electrical and mechanical components.

+ Knowledge of MFDs, copiers, printers, and related office equipment.

+ Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to use a multimeter and read electrical schematics.

+ Strong multitasking, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

+ Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

+ Valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage, and clean driving history.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, and driving.

* Experience:

* + Experience repairing or servicing MFDs, copiers, printers, or similar electro-mechanical equipment preferred.

+ Relevant experience may include HVAC, cable/internet technician, electrician, automotive mechanic, equipment repair, military, or other technical service roles.

+ Ability to independently complete service calls and meet customer service expectations.

* Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical, electrical, mechanical, or vocational training is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
